
Klaus Meyer-Gasters
Klaus Meyer-Gasters (1925–2016), born in Ludwigshafen, was a German press illustrator, watercolorist, painter, and publisher. He became popular across Germany during the 1960s with his unique pharmacy calendars, which featured beautiful watercolor animals and plants. In 1975 he founded the Meyer-Gasters Bildverlag publishing house to manage the production and distribution of these calendars, which have since reached a circulation of more than 90 million worldwide.
